within 2 years of this, mac was dead... why do we take this life for granted... I pissed my entire life away for drugs, used to snort fentanyl when heroin wasn't around, and heroin when the pills I loved weren't around... It all started out of curiosity, then finding something that takes the pain away opens pandoras box... we have one life, and we just flushed it down the toilet. Love you all and I wish everyone had the chance I have to live through my bad mistakes... Never going back to synthetic opiates, I'll find calmness in my breathe, in doing good things for others, maybe some mushrooms but hey, don't judge me.

@@9G0D sorry man, they are making a very valid point. Charlemagne has his moments but a 'god'? A god of what. Mac is amazing in any interview. But SOOOO many of these so called hosts want to hear themselves talk, or speak on shallow showbiz levels that stroke their own egos...rather than allow the artists to explore their depths and speak on what moves their heart and stimulates their mind. So many interviews with Mac kill me because he will about to open up something about his craft or spirit and they talk over him or redirect back to the 'point' which is usually pointless. It's no hate, it's just observation. Howard Stern was really good at making celebrities feel comfortable and bringing the genuine down to earth authentic convos out. Interviews need connection, but sadly people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves, and there is a lot of ego and cookie cutter persona in radioland. We love u Mac. 💖 #letmactalk 💖💖💖

When you’re a creative person you’re sensitive. Not just emotionally but sensitive to your environment and the world around you. And I think that’s why Macs music can be haunting at times bc he explored the idea of his death through his music and not only are drugs a part of his experience but they changed him bc now there was also this idea that he could die from a drug overdose to explore. Unfortunately sometimes we fixate so much on what could ruin us that we end up allowing it distort us or kill us. I hate knowing that he died way too goddamn s- 8:33 thanks for making me feel like I’m not the only one who takes the passing of their favorite artist the hardest. My dad died almost exactly 2yrs before Mac(August 27th) and it gutted me. Almost ruined me, But Mac dying? Whew buddy. Idefk. I’m still not over it.

Any who, The fact that Mac Miller said people should take the idea of celebrating death like it's life is incredible. And what I agree on as well. People shouldn't cry when someone dies. I wasn't putting Mac down. It was simply an observation. I am so into Mac. Honestly. I'm just commenting on how uber high he was in this particular interview. And my feelings are we don't know what he was on. One of my boys -he's 21 - and he was telling me about lean. I had no idea about his codeine addiction. I think it was his codeine addiction that killed him. He mixed shit up - heavy intoxicants like codeine and alcohol which I really hate as a drug. Alcohol sucks. And it gets a pass when other drugs just don't. People get freaked out about fentanyl. Fentanyl is a superb pain killer that gets a bad rap unnecessarily. But don't fuck with prescription drugs and alcohol. Because that is like like like but like the killer cocktail. Peace.
