Can these dry rock hills be turned into green hills by tree planting? Christmas trees, Chir Pine, Blue Pine, Deodar and spruce only grow at high elevations. Now a days plantation in hilly areas has become lot easier and cheaper with the help of drone technologies and economy of watering. Restoring degraded dry hilly land has the potential to become big business as recreation/ picnic spot. Parks and recreation facilities provide people with places to connect to the natural environment and to recreate. Israelis and Chinese have converted their severely degraded dry hills into green, fresh and fruitful hills.
