How is he playing multiple tones? Multiple didgeridoos during recording?

It's a technique I call Multidrone, which is basically the same as playing pedal tones on a brass instrument. It's one didge with no slides or valves. When the mouthpiece size is increased to around 36-38mm wide, it allows you to play one octave below the fundamental drone. If you also tune the first "trumpet" or overblown note to be at a desirable interval, such as F# drone with a C# trumpet note (that's the one used in this song) then you get a 3rd additional tuned drone. Having a large mouthpiece makes it possible to explore below the fundamental drone on most didges.
