I'm 69 years old, and have been playing your music since I was 23. I " ran into you, " Gordon, on the Clearwater. My accompanist yelled for me "We're on next" I was below decks and came tearing up the stairs. The doorway darkened, and I slammed head first into Gordon Bok! I went tumbling down the stairs, tail over tin cup. I was late and bruised for my first song, but I could say with pride "I ran into Gordom Bok on the Clearwater!" No word of a lie, All five feet of me.

I’m 73 years old and I’ve just recently discovered your music on Amazon. Now I’m getting caught up listening to all I can find. It’s like a Gordon Bok marathon around here. Thank You for doing what you do.

I’ve been rejoicing in his music for over 40 years. Dig into his discography. He’s magnificent, and never more so than with Trickett and Muir.

Hi Gordon, This is your old fan from Belgium. Good to see you, although we have both grow old (and grey) since I first discovered your songs back in the winter of 1974. Take good care of yourself ...

So glad to see Gordon still bringing his stories and songs to the world. I saw him in the late 70s at WWU in Bellingham WA and about 5 years ago In Portland, OR. Unforgettable. Sail on, Gordon.

I last saw him in Sterling CO at the community college in 2013. I was chatting with him afterwards as he gathered up stuff (he had no roadies). One of the regrets of my life is that I did not say, hey, let's go get coffee, or something like that. He is an amazing story teller. And his playing leave me in awe.

Johnny Todd was (is) the first song on the first side of the first album...That's long ago and time is cruel to our voices ...please go back and listen to that early perfomance if you can ... Love at first listen...Herring Croon is last song on the second side of the same album...can't hold back the tears ...

I was given a mix tape of Gordon's music in 1990. I was in California . . . the music painted pictures of the New England coast. Now I live in Vermont and have felt the magic of the Maine coast. I like to think Gordon's music had a part in bringing me to my new home.

I was introduced to him 40 years ago. I have him in concert about eight times. Words simply unable to express what his, along with Muir and Tricket, music mean to me. I learned from him that I can sing. The is a place for a bass singer.

Thank you for uploading this for those of us who live far away but still admire Gordon's music! I am a long time admirer and I don't think I'll ever be able to see Gordon perform live, but his music has accompanied me for most of my life and shaped me as a person. It's a real treasure. Peace and take care everyone

So glad to hear these tales! I first knew your music when on a week-long cruise on the "Mercantile" in September 1979 out if Camden harbor. We made it to Isle Au Haut! We had winds from Hurricane Frederic...it was fantastic. And your music made the most indelible mark on me. Decades later am still enjoying! Thank you!
