Anthony Gordon is a big reason why I get frustrated with Marcus Rashford. He has the right attitude and determination. He knows his strengths and is always dangerous, running at defenders. Throughout Newcastle’s injury crisis, Gordon has always been available, running his arse off without complaining or sulking. He takes responsibility on the pitch like a proper footballer.

Love this guy and his intensity - what a consummate professional. Unpretentious, no bling or flash. Others would do well to take note.

What an absolute credit Anthony Gordon is to Newcastle utd and for the younger generation as a whole ,I'm amazed at how well rounded and polite he is ,just a great young gentleman and nice to see

Everyone doubted NUFC when they signed him for £45m, in today's money I would call this an absolute bargain. He is only getting better and with the attitude he has he could go to the very top... he is adored at Newcastle & he has a great relationship with not only Eddie but the owners & supporters too

I'm so proud of the professionalism, humility and maturity of this generation of England lads (Gordon, Jude, Saka to name a few) such a young age with the weight of the world on their shoulders and they handle themselves with absolute class and decorum. No matter what team you support, these are our lads and they need to be nurtured and encouraged not only for the benefits of their future careers but also for the future generations to come.

These interviews always reveal an unexpected side of the athletes that is great to see. Gary always manages to get them comfortable enough to open up.

Was extremely sceptical about this signing thought we could of spent that 40m someone better but my god hes changed my opinion the 1st half season he wasnt starting seemed like he was unhappy coming off as a sub and didnt think he would settle but this season hes been the biggest success. Absolutely fair play he been unbelievable and im propa buzzing we signed him and hope he stays for long time he works his socks off for 90 minutes and hes added so much to his game and hes the perfect type of player for up here. Really hoping for the best for this guy. I noticed his strength and ability when he broke through at Everton. He can be a handful at whichever position he plays and i'm confident he'll do a great job for England. Solid player.
