I saw him do this tune at Massey Hall in Toronto and he had Vern Dorge come out to do the saxophone piece that's on the recorded version. I left a piece of my heart there forever during that magnificent performance.

Thanks for this song from his incredible but underappreciated album "East of Midnight". When released many panned it because it wasn't like his other work. Great album, songs from which he seldom performed live! Check out "I'll Tag Along" from same.

I always felt that this song and the album from which it came from deserved a better shake from the Warner Bros record label. There are some really solid tunes therein. Just thin 80’s production. It deserves a remix/remaster.
