The emotion with which he sang “The Last Time I Saw Her” and the rich timber of his voice gives me chills every time I play it.

Nicely done. Reminds me of GL concerts I would go to when I lived out west. Many thanks.

Utterly a fantastic recording and Gord's vocals are stunning and his audience is the best one could want..

Im very surprised that this live recording was not officially released by warner records, its a superior and very high quality production! Ive been a fan off and on for my whole life, Gord's songs were some of the first music i ever heard very early in my life! Got a chance to go to one of his live shows in November 1999! Great show, he still had a good strong singing voice, he made each song sound just like the original recordings! The gentleman introducing him sure sounds very familiar to me, anyone know who it is?

This is a sound quality gem for sure.

It's great to finally have access to God's live recordings. It was his best work. The albumbs were studioed. This is pure live gold.

“God’s live recordings” in this case is the most accurate typo ever.

I thought "albumbs" was pretty great. And "Studioed."

@@jasonw4053 So many people that can't 'spell' correctly online is ridiculous,.....especially with autocorrect so available to them.

I am so thrilled to land here! I first saw Gord in 1971 at Cortland State College, NY. Do you know if this concert was at Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center? I think I was there twice to see him, or maybe once. I have attended over 40 concerts, the last in 2022, Binghamton, NY. I was crushed when he passed!

Anyone know who that was that introduced Gordon Lightfoot.
@RRSNYАй бұрын
The great voice you heard introducing Gordon was the legendary New York disc jockey Scott Muni. Scotty ruled the music radio airwaves here for over 50 years. Scotty was the best and one of a kind.

@@jamesrae7597 You are quite welcome. Scotty's "striking voice" was unique. He was loved in NY and is sorely missed.
