My heart hurts to see comments making fun of him. I love him so damn much. He is such an incredibly talented man. He was my Dad’s absolute favourite artist and even though my dad is dying from Alzheimer’s, whenever I play Gordon Lightfoot for him, he starts whistling and smiling.

I totally agree. I dont want to remember Gordon like this. It's the same with when Johnny Cash before he passed and was doing shows. It was pitiful. The list is endless with singers who unfortunately need to ride off into the sunset
