Read this book for the first time at 8 years old, a gift from my mother. upon reaching adulthood I was able to take another look at the messages expounded and the value system imparted through Parks writing

I remember my Parents and Grandparents Aunt and Uncle buying this book for my Brother and Myself at the LIBERATION BOOK STORE on 125th St next to THE TREE OF LIFE where we would go to after School.

Thanks for posting this. Even though this movie is so sad it’s still one of my favorite movies.

Saw this movie when I was a little girl, I was living in the middle of rioting Doctor Martin Luther King marches, even had a white boy tell this dog to chase me and bite me for no reason at all, how much things have changed, and how much things stay the same. God help us all

My girl and I watched the movie last night having seen it back in the 90s during school times. Narrorator reads just like they talked in the movie and live we get to learn everyone's full tea after seeing the classic movie

When I've said America is the best place to live I was asked how do you know if you haven't been anywhere & never mind how many others come, what do you know? I know I wasn't so dissatisfied that I moved.
