I grew up in a strictly no-mayo household, but as an adult I learned how to use it proportionally (not goopy), like a touch with some mac or potato salad, a light swipe on a sandwich (with mustard too), and even cooking with it (it works well in meatballs).

We do that here off the coast of Oregon too! I think living by the coast is a blessing regardless of whether it's Florida, Oregon, Maine, etc. Love seafood! I hope wherever you ended up you can still get good seafood!

Yeah, i get he's getting memed on for the Key Limes, but they are very forgiving and you need A LOT of them to get even close to a single Persian Lime's sourness and flavor. Key Limes are nuanced and sweet, and are closer to a sweet citrus marinade than a sour fruit flavor.

Most people have no idea that a ripe lime is NOT that deep green color you get at the superstore. They get yellow-ish as they ripen, and those brown keys are like a brown banana-- just past ripe with a completely different taste than you get from from a store key thats green and feels like a golf ball and is so tart and sour it makes your eyes water.
