Cost per average person. Hawaiian bread $7, pineapple $3, spam $4, 40 lbs lump coal $35, teriyaki glaze $5, frezno chili $2, white miso paste $28, Hawaiian salt $15, onion $5, shallots $3, garlic $1.50. For a grand total of $108.50 for spam sammiches. I would say the only thing elevated about this is the cost. 😂😂😂

They take the piss with real food prices in America, seven dollars for a couple of buns? I can get 4 for £1 and pineapples cost between 1 and 1.50. I can get a jar of white miso paste for £1.75 and a kilo of onions for 99p

Maybe spam was $2 a can when Trump was president, more like $5 now

Haha troll... he just gave the top .01% huge tax breaks so they can spend more of their money on lobbying to fuck people like you and me over while making us fight against each other instead of the bourgeoisie!

Nope, it wasn't 2 dollars when trump was president it hasn't been that price in quite a while

Everything cheap got expensive. 5 bucks for a can of spam, and 7 bucks for a pack of Kraft singles. It's ridiculous. Joe Biden's America!

Gordon has a palate for well made food, so I never thought he’d like spam as much as he expresses in this video.

One of those bread rolls was burnt, badly. He then covered the burnt roll with the mayo to hide the burn!

Equal parts Spam and Velveeta, add onions and mix. Food processor/meat grinder. Spread on hard dinner roll and toast/bake until golden brown!

SPAM is an island delight. They know how to make it right. It's not glorious or glamorous, but it's a good eat. I learned an amazing dish on Guam that used SPAM as the base, super amazing!!!

I didnt think Id ever see Gordon and Spam in the same sentence. He's taken a budget food and turned it into a delicacy.

I doubt Gordon will read this personally but please pass on how much I enjoyed him cooking with his son at home. Those videos are a delight, I believe the best one was the "Fish Buddy". Chef Ramsay may be a Lion in a commercial kitchen but he was a caring and loving Dad in those videos.

Spam and pineapple is a classic. I've been doing it for decades. Mine is remarkably similar. Same spam, pineapple, caramelised onions and chilli. But i honey glaze the spam, add a slice of a good sharp cheddar and I use a garlic aioli instead of the mayo.

MORE SPAM!! 🤣 I’ve never seen someone put so much time and effort into making a spam sandwich. 😅 When I was a kid, I at spam sandwiches with just miracle whip and a tomato and cheese. Sometimes without the cheese. Sour cream and onion or salt and vinegar lays potato chips and a chocolate milk. 😋
