I work at a Hawaiian restaurant and this is one of my favorite sandwich's. On top of what he did, add an egg, fresh green onion, and a slice of white American cheese. Literally my breakfast every Monday and usually every other Wednesday. Instead of the Fresno I do a dash of Sambal hot sauce, but effectively the same purpose in the dish. If you make this, be prepared to wash your hands afterwards or eat it with gloves. Totally worth it.

@@JF-NYC-NJ-Girl coming from someone who unironically used 'pls' and puts emoji's in their post. For reference, the usage of an apostrophe is technically not wrong in my post because it is showing ownership of a thing. The person responding to me doesn't understand English and assumed it was meant as a contraction. My usage is not dissimilar to saying "The dog's ball". That said, this whole argument is nonsense and you should go eat good food rather than argue semantic nonsense online with people you don't know and will never meet. Let it go.

I'm 61 years old, and have probably been eating spam for at least 50 of those years! I simply fried up in a pan, throw a slice of American cheese on there put it on toasted brioche, and nothing more. And it's simply awesome just like that! They do have a knock off that they sell at the Aldi near me, it's pretty good, but the real spam is where it's at! Thanks for the video! Now I'm hungry!

Yes, they want us to die from processed foods that have chemicals, toxins, preservatives, and carcinogens so that you will have cancer and they profit off your illness. But by all means, it’s such a glamorous and elevated food that’s soooooooo amazing and worth making a viral video about to have more consumers die and pay for their health issues in a corrupt government that won’t provide universal healthcare nor a properly regulated food market for its citizens. You’re welcome. Sincerely a concerned citizen with a brain.

@lisakomor9661 there's going to be worldwide food shortages in the next 20 years it's been planned for a long time it's literally biblical, and the amount of people that went bankrupt and entered the poverty class worlwide since the pandemic is much more than you can imagine , people cant even afford fuel or food now, i live in one of the wealthiest cities in the world and now the middle class have become extremely frugal, and yes zombies already exist just look at the streets of suburban usa.. braindead junkie zombies who will attack you scratching themselves and half falling over, just because you are fine doesnt mean everyone else is, wake up.

Giving it the respect that it deserves after all it has done to help people get through the harsh war rationing times and later the people who were/are impoverished. What a delicious dish you made, the sauce, the favor. I’m hungry already! So ono!

Cost per average person. Hawaiian bread $7, pineapple $3, spam $4, 40 lbs lump coal $35, teriyaki glaze $5, frezno chili $2, white miso paste $28, Hawaiian salt $15, onion $5, shallots $3, garlic $1.50. For a grand total of $108.50 for spam sammiches. I would say the only thing elevated about this is the cost. 😂😂😂

They take the piss with real food prices in America, seven dollars for a couple of buns? I can get 4 for £1 and pineapples cost between 1 and 1.50. I can get a jar of white miso paste for £1.75 and a kilo of onions for 99p

Spam and pineapple is a classic. I've been doing it for decades. Mine is remarkably similar. Same spam, pineapple, caramelised onions and chilli. But i honey glaze the spam, add a slice of a good sharp cheddar and I use a garlic aioli instead of the mayo.

MORE SPAM!! 🤣 I’ve never seen someone put so much time and effort into making a spam sandwich. 😅 When I was a kid, I at spam sandwiches with just miracle whip and a tomato and cheese. Sometimes without the cheese. Sour cream and onion or salt and vinegar lays potato chips and a chocolate milk. 😋
