This trailer had a central conflict and a strong sense of character to over come said challenge. (Cranky old Chef is in a new world and has to acquire ingredients himself, which will teach him a new appreciation for both this hostile world and those who gather the ingredients he uses in his day to day art of cooking. ) The Minecraft trailer has too many character and the central conflict is hard to understand the stakes or how it will effect them. everyone complains about the animal animations but those are actually the best part, the script I what looks like it’ll be lacking.

Seriously this is perfection, i love how everything doesn't look realistic, and still retains the charm of Minecraft, like if the action movie was made like this I wouldn't mind that much, especially how well edited Gordon Ramsay is in this video with all the camera movements because in the live action movie, the human characters didn't look like they are in this Minecraft world it's like they were slapped on top of this realistic Minecraft world with some cheap green screen with no enough editing and that's why it looked horrible.

Old video or not, this right here is what we* expect from a live action. Accurate world generation, almost similar texture and lighting render (despite being realistic, it's still minecrafty and not some goofy ahh realistic cubes). You can see here how even with real people (Gordon) the minecrafty texture still fits off rather than rendering all that goofy realistic cubes. not to mention the mobs in there looks like they came out of a dollar store shop instead of something you can normally see on minecraft.
