In addition, all other services as taxi/ridesharring, food delivery service, hotels, coffee, etc. Should not be tipped based. Basically tipping in the United States is an additional tax that the public has to pay for a commodity/service. Finally, I have lived in the United States my whole life.

Again absolutely crazy prices... $201.56... For bang average food & drink... Add a 20% gratuity at $37.20... Totaling $238.76... That's almost $120.00... or £90.00 each... It's an absolute joke... Not forgetting the $31.41... plus a $5.00 tip... for the 2 cans Martin bought at the start of the video... and that puts this lunch for two... with drinks... To an eye watering total of... $275.17... or £205.61... I'm sorry guys... But at those prices!... Zero out of Ten.

Hi and loved this vodeo as ususal MacMaster, But my opinion on this is that no matter who it is who has their name on the venue such as Gordan Ramsey this usualy means that the price does up and the quality of food is just the same as any regular food place. But on the other hand when Lee tried the burger on the previous video it can change alot and be worth the while trying it, But this video it does seem very overpriced for what you are getting as well as paying just for the name of the venue. "servers in america don't get paid a lot of money", ehh your $5 tip says otherwise! tough work carrying 2 cans, wonder how many they do in an hour. There is a law in place a few years now that if a waiters tips do not make up minimum wage then the employer has to pay the balance. "if you can't afford to tip don't go out for a meal" well instead why not "if you suspect a restaurant is not paying staff a suitable wage then boycott it, and let them know why" that goes for ANY business. Some restaurants in the US have a no tipping policy, and the workers obviously know it before applying.

What really annoys me is that tipping is almost at the point where it is mandatory. My wife and I dine out frequently, in any establishment that adds their " discretionary gratuity / service charge " I have it removed from the bill. I'm perfectly satisfied ( for the most part ) to pay the high prices in most of these establishments but I totally refuse to subsidize their staff's wages. With good service I always leave at least 15% and in many instances more than that. I would tend to agree with you regarding what servers get paid. Let's be realistic most servers between wages and shared tips enjoy a reasonable wage ,, if they didn't restaurants would have no serving staff. Our neighbour's Grand daughter works full time at an upscale fast food restaurant here in Canada she earns the statutory wage ( $15.20 ) per hour plus she averages $ 350.00 per week in tips. I would suggest that a weekly wage of around $ 960.00 is reasonable ,, very reasonable.

Years ago the food & drink in the states was very cheap in restaurants now they are charging $22 for a single can of beer , this kind of mark up can more than cover paying waiters a decent wages. To bring out both those expensive meals cold is a sin but good on the service staff to re order it. Had a burger from a road side van yesterday, the chap makes his own burgers, with fresh fried onions and a toasted bun, absolutely superb, looked far better than the one in the video, and tasted great. ,,,, and only £2.80, so how can Ramsy and his like charge so much for a poor comparison to the one i had!

I’m going to miss Martin when you come back to Blighty Mc. What a great, down to earth guy. I must say that the Vegas food is on the pricey side but it does look pretty good. I’d give both the burger and the fish a decent 6 out of ten. The burger was slightly thin on the ground but a generous portion of salad in a meat diet is not always a bad thing. There was also plenty of filling in that fish to be fair. The Mc and Martin show are thoroughly watchable and perhaps they inadvertently cover up a multitude of “food sins”!! So watchable and just brilliant fellas. Roll on the next one please.🙏❤️🥊.x

Michael Jackson did not invent the moon walk, Bob Fosse started to use it years before but it is believed it came from some black dancers way way back in the 20's or earlier but was not shown much because there was no T.V. only film and it wasn't until T.V. came into its own that it really became wide spread and black artists were accepted in the main stream. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😁😁🇦🇺🇦🇺

Some of the prices back on Long Island were great value for decent food. Its the tourist traps on the strip in Vegas that are rip offs. Id like to see them find spots away from the tourist areas out in the suburbs. Im looking forward to seeing the BBQ steaks or brisket as big as a plate that the yanks are famous for. For openers, I almost fell off my chair at $36 for 2 beers. Both of those meals were a joke. At those prices, coming out cold is unforgivable. The burger did look like a Burger King burger. The burger at GR Burger looked far better and was cheaper. The fish was lost in the coating, designed to make the portion look bigger. Two thirds of the check was beer which was actually the best value. I agree with both your ratings.
