On the juice, not only do you get stronger, but you get to train 2, 3, 5 times harder and longer. I was much closer to being a fan of Ryan’s when the struggle was between just him and the very demanding deity that is Jiu Jitsu. He is now a servant of the Juice.

They can't all breakdown matches like John Danaher, and if you're watching ADCC you should have some clue as to what's going on, not exactly the most casual event
@jc-kj8yc4 жыл бұрын
Good fight commentary is hard as fuck! I commentated on some local events and often ran in exactly that trap to just say what's happening and not delivering further, because the fight kept going too fast. It's really tough to not just say what's happening but also to go deeper into strategy and possible outcomes while it's happening. And what's even worse is if there isn't much going on and you basically have nothing to say. In this instance it's really good to have a Goldberg who can throw in random facts about the athletes to fill the silence.

@@blissoneseven1116 blissoneseven not saying that at all. I've seen smaller, regional, shows with more engaging and enlightening commentary. @brendon24623 жыл бұрын
Yea he just scoots back with left hand post. Right butterfly hook is in. Left leg he takes it out. Right hand pulls the head down. He would of got on top so opponent gave up on it. The head control helps to stops them. Gives you more leverage combined with the left hand post to push away. Escape the legs and look for openings. For example you can pull the head down. Escape the legs come up on top. That's what i see watching it closely. At the very least stop them from holding your legs. I notice he does this a lot. Looks to come up or get underneath. Here he went underneath instead because the guy postured up.

@@series9193 I'm not debating anything here. Grappling is a major part of mma. It's considered fighting in mma. Tell me this for example. If Gordon is actively. giving it his all. Trying with all his skill, strength, and power. To subdue his opponent by manipulating the human body. The opponent is doing everything in his power to resist and fend him off. Are they not fighting as hard as they can? Giving it everything they have? In that perspective it's fighting. Just punching someone or kicking them isn't the only form of fighting. Kick boxing is literally one form. Boxing one form both considered fighting. Grappling has to be considered fighting then to. It's one form that's included in mma to.
