As somone who has lived in Gordon's bay for over 11 years I moved out there about a month ago it's shit and there's air pollution the people from across the world come to the beach and fuck it up the water is sometimes brown and gross there are rocks under there and some of the restaurants have cockroaches there is Alot of secrets going around there it's KAK, people can't drive there or park it's overpopulated with taxis and the people look at you, like you have done something wrong some are nice but really guys...?

Beautiful place. Other than a handful of kids, why did the beach seem lacking in any people of darker complexion in a country that enjoys a super majority of melanated people? Beautiful place, ugly past, and not-so-pretty present.

Out-of-season views often portray a more serene and less crowded atmosphere, which has its own unique charm. I go to this area every few weeks (that big parking lot in the middle) and just chill in the car. On a saturday and good weather the place is absolutely packed by at least 60% coloreds (the majority of Cape Town is actually colored, check wikipedia) with the rest a mix of black and white and what have you. Some have very light complexion and absolutely do look like white people from a distance. These drone footage videos were definitely not taken at it's most busy times.
