VCT tiles are NOT easier to maintain in a classroom setting. That's a bunch of BS and you know it. Although VCT tiles are very nice and look good, they are heavy maintenance and require constant refinishing each school year and so on. If you go with something like carpet tiles in a classroom, they are actually surprisingly durable and long lasting. When one gets ruined or stained beyond cleaning, they can be pulled up and replaced with very little effort. The school I work at has all carpeted halls and classrooms that are carpeted with carpet tiles. Those tiles have been there since 2014 and look almost how they did the the day they were laid. A few here and there have been replaced over the years, but overall they don't stain easy and nor do they show dirt in high traffic areas easily. They only get extracted once or twice a year to maintain their appearance and cleanliness. The "covid" thing pointed out in this video was just absolutely stupid AF and makes no sense at all. That was nothing more than a cheap horrible sales tactic which takes advantage of people's fear.
