Gordon setter grooming - scissoring the feathers into a shorter pet trim

How to scissor the feathers short enough for easy maintenance but still maintaining the setter feathered look
I’m using a long blade mostly 7-7.5’ thinners for a natural look

Excellent tutorial as always. My working cocker spaniels tail was seriously too long so I trimmed with a blender on Sunday also, a tidy - up on the paws.
