Gordon setter grooming - tipping the feathers

Tipping the ends of the feathers can make then beater looking and keep them healthier and fuller looking - by slightly taking the length off - the hair becomes lighter and bounces back up giving the appearance of thicker looking hair ( and no ugly ends )
Tipping can be done every 2-4 months depending on the speed of the hair growth
I’m using Kamisori Kumori 7.5’ pro thinners from Canada - I love these scissors - they leave a very natural finish to the hair - beautifully blended in - delicate shear - needs to well cares for - and will give you lovely results ; handles very well for a longer blade shear
