Why was New Zealand (of all places) so richly endowed with early motor cars?

That's a good question. Quite a number have been found over the years stored away in farmer's hay barns etc. Plus wealthy collectors do source old vehicles in any condition from overseas. To be honest I have video from another four car museums plus a motorcycle museum which I just haven't got round to editing. Plus I know of at least another four that I haven't visited.
