Theory I have is that Phil is not dead he just had a clone in case somebody tried to kill(or to seek vengeance) from him, hence why he's called verse curse and NOT Phil Phil's just gone from pillars after the boss fight cuz he knows that somebody(presumably Gary Soto) is finding him. In the end Phil's a coward who doesn't want to own up to his own mistakes and instead writhe in guilt and let evil take over him.

Theory I have is that Phil is not dead he just had a clone in case somebody tried to kill(or to seek vengeance) from him, hence why he's called verse curse and NOT Phil Phil's just gone cuz he knows that somebody(Gary Soto) is finding him. In the end Phil's a coward lol.

This gives me such an anxiety, i just remember the tension i felt, you See, in order to defeath phil's seccond phase, i needed to spawn the nuke contraption, then fly a helicopter to the top of the tower, wait for phil to come up, get him inside of the contraption and make it go boom, this makes me remember when i flyed the helicopter praying not to explode, the tension building up, the fear, the excitement, the anticipation, it was just CRAZY.
