Completely agree regarding the restriction of some effects to requiring 7 stars or higher. And I feel like what makes this far worse for Ultra platinum equipments specifically is just how bad Ultra banners are and the fact that they refuse to return old Ultras on anything other than reruns of their OG banner. And there's no Ultra multi z power other than on a paid only basis at infrequent occasions. Yet after us voicing complaints on this for so long instead of choosing to improve how Ultras are obtained at least to some extent they decide the best course of action is to add these greedy, awful restrictions to platinum rarity equipment effects to try to get people to summon on those terrible banners. It's absolutely disgusting

I definitely agree zenkai and this platinum equipment slot need a rework. I was so pissed about the equipment. The audacity to lock it behind 7stars, when ultra pull rates are so abysmal. Been play the game since pre release and only have 3 ultras. No extra copys and an Absurd amount of ccs used.

I've been playing for 6 years and I usually have better luck on Ultra banners rather than LL ones. The difference between 0.43% and 0.5% is so slim you can easily get unlucky on 0.5% units. Also yeah, Ultras have 0.4375% pull rate and not 0.35% due to step 2 improving the average.

@@John_Smith_ Well yes, but that's without taking into account LFs also have summon coins. Either they can be used on tickets, which give you a 5% chance to pull the new LF for each one. Or pity, which GUARANTEES you can obtain the new unit (even if only 600 z power) for if you spend enough CC (around 40k ish CC) and get massively shafted (and haven't spent the summon coins on other things). Or you can get LF multi z power with them if you really want. Ultra banners have legends tickets but they are garbage and you can get those from LL banners too by exchanging summon coins for them (but no reason to unless you don't have enough to get anything else) Main downside is you only get 1200 z power for LFs (on a 2x z power banner) compared to 2000 for ultras on an ultra banner. But remember, LFs have much more easily accessible multi z power (can't get ultra multi z power at all without paying) so it's way easier to star them up compared to ultras (especially since you can also passively get z power for them by summoning on banners where they return, compared to ultras which don't return at all on any banner apart from reruns of their own). And that's just the benefits for the new unit specifically, there's also often way better side LFs on LF banners, also 2x z power and 20% sparking rates for the initial release of the banner

No pity system, the steps suck and 1 step has a double rate, wich most times doesn't mean shit. 3 times out of 4, if you have enough crystals, you're gonna be facing absurd pull rates and on the 4th one, you can get shafted all the same because 0.75% is still very low. The fact that this specific format is for the most game changing units is probably THE worst thing of all. If you don't get the current ultra you're gonna struggle much more than you should have to. And now, if you want to upgrade older ultra units you gotta pull them twice. That kind of decision is simply dumb

I think gogeta was better on release than this guy. He was toxic on release with the strike lock and could do some damage. But he fell off waaaay faster than gogeta due to the andriods. Gogeta even saw a resurgence in use during that time so it wasn't that surprising

Instead of restricting the platinums to 7 stars, they should’ve just made it something like friendship rank 3, or just don’t have a restriction in general. It still confuses me to this day as to why you need friendship rank 5 to get a sparking plat. It’s tedious, and half the time the unit is barely worth it.
