On top of the usual damage and defense buffs, if the equip gives the Vegeta side a card-into-card effect to match the Trunks' blast draws and grants cover null for at least 5 counts every time they use a green card, then they'd be solid. Not exactly top tier, but solid nevertheless. Also, the Trunks side gaining +70% Vanish Gauge restore on tag switch/green while the Vegeta side just destroys 2 enemy cards encapsulates the dynamic between both sides perfectly. Get a free extra vanish, or set the opponent back 2 counts tops; I wonder which one is more useful?

Im not an expert with these guys since i didnt really play back then. But from what im assuming you want to stack damahe with vegeta and go to trunks. So maybe give vegeta 2x cds and for the first time he uses a card it fills switch gauge by 50% so u can possibly go from trunks to vegeta and once again to trunks in one combo and just burst them down and to help with ki issues make vegeta draw green when he enters the battlefield or if you are really scared limit it to 2 times

I actually just noticed: Good LF Zenkais, Good 1% that could actually help you win fights, Free To Play Units that are actually solid for once, and a bunch of events with really good rewards. Tbh, if they just drop ULTRA SSJ4 Gogeta, and a Games Original (Either Dark Ki unleashed Giblet, or ULTRA Shallet) this Anniversary could become the objective best Anniversary ever. I just pray they don't fumble Part Three (When it comes to the Unit and events).

Wish Goresh could make an objective video on VT where he doesnt just dog on the unit for no reason, the Vegeta side is also blatantly better than the Trunks side. It is where you build all the damage up for Trunks and he has the vanish restore, Goresh just never knew how to use this character and judging by the video still doesnt know how to use them. Their kit was never their problem, it was everything SURROUNDING their kit, the equips, the party members, the bench options, it was all a mess. They were on par with the Tag 4s but unlike the Tag 4s had no teams and no equips cause the devs are incompetent brain damaged monkeys who made every Future buff during Part 2 of Fest a strike Future buff when this unit is a heavily one sided blast unit. VT didnt have the luxury of having their tag be buffed for months with equips and units that would help them on their release. They were doomed from the start. I got around 10 of my 38 god ranks with this unit, they were competent, they just needed to be leadered on blast teams. Their main issue at this point is ki, I hope they get ki when faced with an enemy and more ki when tag switching, cause for some reason they only restore 20 ki on tag which was a random downgrade from literally all tag units before them.

What I think they need aside from the typical stat boosts is that obviously both characters need Ki on entry, but what I also want them to do is to have Vegeta draw a card on Tag Switch to be able to build up more effectively since Trunks doesn't have draw speed. Aside from the Blast Card draws, the small amount of cards Trunks draws aren't good enough to compliment Vegeta's build up playstyle especially with all the disrupt around every corner. They didn't have the great flow of the Tag 4's where Goku would tag into Vegeta and then be able combo enough to Tag back to Goku for the devastating blue card. So yeah.
