This unit was the proof of why leader slot has made the devs lazy. Realistically he needed 2 new Buu units to atleast give him a team. But nope put him leader slot, same thing as Ultra Hit.

The leader slot looking back feels like a misstep with how people abuse it by running characters on every team other than their *actual* teams. Characters like S17, Gohan and Freiza would not be as annoying, people thought it would encourage players to run unique teams but in reality it encouraged them to just run the newest broken units together.

I remember when I went on a saving arc in this game for like 6 months. I remember my ecstacy on Sunday April the 30th, waiting to pull this guy with the 50k cc I had in storage. I pulled him 3 times with 42k and he was so fun to use. His card draw speed, his lock, his green card, his vanish restoration If the meta wasn't how it is now, I think he would still be viable. Despite not being a support, the tools he brings to the team (like spawning blues from greens which lock in) can't be ignored

Ultra Golden Frieza is sort of just a newer, powercrept version of this Kid Buu. Kid Buu has endurance that heals 30%? Frieza has a comeback that nobody nullifies right now which also deals damage to the enemy and heals 50%. Kid Buu has a gauge which gives him card draw speed until he's attacked? Frieza has essentially the same gauge, except it recharges twice as fast with the increased unique gauge charge rate for 90 counts from battle start (and also another instance of that for 30 counts after the comeback hits). Also they have similar effects that activate when they reset (healing and a bit of disrupt), although Kid Buu does get a stackable instance of 10% damage inflicted too. Kid Buu has an AOE ultimate? Frieza also does, except it does way more damage. Not to mention just the increased multipliers across the board for Frieza (as you would expect for a character who is much newer). Kid Buu nullifies attribute downgrades and abnormal conditions for 60 counts? Frieza..... only nullifies attribute downgrades for 60 counts, so this is one of the few areas where he is slightly worse. You get the idea though.

Kid Buu also has the permanent endurance null when last man standing, just like UL SSJ2 Gohan. Overall, yeah... Frieza's just a power crept version... which saddens me, as Kid Buu is my favorite dragon ball character and they really didn't give him all he needed... People forget he nullifies endurance, though... so I that helped me a bit when they throw Gohan out to a rush.

@saltycritic I just wished he had the 70% damage reduction off rip instead of the 10% being locked behind a full unique gauge. He's supposed to be a defense unit, yet he has no real defense besides that, and maybe endurance. It could have been replaced by inflicting Arts' power down on the enemy team.. And recharge his vanish on blue card when last man.
