Does anyone have any cheap drum machines that you can recommend? Ive been slowly working on building up my hardware set up but dont have a ton of money to throw around for one. I mostly just need something that can generate drum sounds and take a sync signal. I like my volca beats that i have been using but the sounds that come from it are a bit dinky haha

The tr-8s I'm using here is insanely versatile for the price - sample, va, FM, you can make pretty much any kit sound you can think of.

@@goreshit after doing a bit of looking i think i might try out the tr-6! it's a bit cheaper and has less features but might be a good fit for what i'm trying to do. Thanks again!

@@pawouapproval984 both awesome pieces of kit. I also like the Teenage Engineering PO-12, KO, other lil $50 drum machines for live hardware stuff. If you've got enough mixer channels, they can help add something different. I like them for additional hats, percs, snare layering. Idk the prices these days but Boss drum machines were slept on for a while too, sometimes you can find them under $100.
