am counters are mainly heroes that can jump after him after blink and/or ignore his counter spell. Like void, lc etc

Chrono can lock down am and is unaffected by counterspell. Also void out carries am so you aren’t pressured to push. When you are ok trading farm with an am it’s a pretty good game

AM kit doesn't really let you deal with what void has, unless you jump on him first and burn all of his mana fast. the same reason why weaver is countered by void, you can have all damage in the world, but if you're chronoed there is not much you can do in that scenario.

Void bashes are builtin. AM can't do anything if chrono'd. On paper void wins the matchup

@@hankeaton2085 antimage can burn void mana, can't remember where I saw it, but am have better winrate against void, i mean void chrono cd is almost 3 minutes, am outfarms void almost always, and void cant do anything without chrono. Anyway it's all doesn't matter, because if you are more skilled carry you can win even against bad match ups.
