Just checked the wiki. Auto repeat mouse click does it every 0.25 seconds. That's 4 clicks per second. And 260 clicks per minute. It's not only that. Apm doesn't meant you're good, but ame was probably really focused that game.

it's not bugged, more like misleading/different systems. iirc, sc2 only counts meaningful actions into the apm so you can't just click your mouse rapidly on a unit or switch between your workers rapidly to increase your apm while in dota, all actions count into the apm so meaninglessly mashing right click on an enemy or endlessly left clicking enemy to check items counts into your apm score.

@@CheeKiatTeo I think it was Serral that said that high APM at the beginning of the game is inflated, but it's not meaningless, SC2 pros spike APM because fight can break out at any given moment, if their hand isn't used to it right from get go they might lose seconds, or milliseconds to react and as SC2 plays out every small loss in early game can be leveraged to snowball.

it's 100% bugged - if you check the OpenDota match pages for the highest APMs on Ame & Yatoro, all 5 on the Radiant have impossibly high APMs while all 5 on Dire have 0 APM. Replay bug from 2021, that's why all the record games he sees are from 2021.

It kinda very simple guys I know the trick you may think its weird but it very simple as naga spammer with +1k games I found out that playing micro heroes like naga tb and meepo using mouse scroll to move instead of right clicking is much better also you get +500 apm avrg every game my avrg is between 500 - 600 thanks for mouse scroll lmao.

You only really need maybe 150 effective apm. Anything else is just spamming keys. Which is often the case in sc2 for example people spamming keys for apm number to go brrr.

I don't think most pros average 300apm in brood war. Usually I see a range of 190-350, but 350 is the max someone would be consistently and that's maybe only 4-5 times in a game.

I think people that adjust map on the keyboard, will also naturally have way higher APM. Not that common, but there are people that do that. Also most of those are on PRACTICE MATCH, where they were probably spamming attack/stop to LH non stop.
