GORGEOUS GRAND CAYMAN 🌊🐚 seven mile beach, pirate night + fireworks at sea on the Disney Fantasy! 🎆🚢

Welcome to a full, epic, action-packed series travelling around the Caribbean on the Disney Fantasy, resort-hopping in Disney World, and living like a local in our happy place!
Today we docked in Grand Cayman and tendered over to the island. We hopped in a taxi to Seven Mile Beach and it was BEAUTIFUL! It has been a bucket list destination for us for a long time so to spend the day here was amazing. We then headed back on board the ship and for dinner at animators palate, as well as the long awaited PIRATE NIGHT!! Watching fireworks above the Caribbean Sea was incredible, an amazing day all round ❤️

I’m just now looking at port excursions for our Disney cruise in March. Unfortunately, the 7 mile beach excursions we wanted is sold out, so we may do exactly what you guys did. How did you pay for the taxis? Credit cards, local currency, or USD? Also, where there a lot of taxis to pick people up at the beach to bring them back to the ship loading area? I’m scared we won’t be able to find a taxi back and will miss the ship 😅 Thanks for the wonderful video, so helpful!

We paid in USD! We also arranged with our driver a time that he was going to come back for us to take us back to the ship! So glad it was helpful, have the best time!!

Hi! Thanks so much for sharing your video, going on the Fantasy next month with my 18 month old. Were there people with children under 2 taking taxis and if so, did they take car seats with them or were they allowed to get in without one? Wondering if I need to take a car seat with me if I want to grab a taxi at the port. Thanks!!

Hey! We didn’t see anyone that little, but usually in taxis car seat laws don’t apply, you’re best to just do a quick google for the country you’re going to! Xx

Ok so I’ve never been on a cruise before how much time do you give herself on an island before heading back so you don’t get left behind? That’s a big fear of mine besides being on a huge ship.

We were only on small islands so we didn’t go far! You get told the time to be back on board by, and if you do an organised excursion booked through the cruise line then they wait for you if you’re delayed for some reason! X

PEOPLE at Grand Cayman were so rude this past week... the people of the transportation at the port, at the 7 mile beach, at the port stores... yelling and pushing for you to fall on their money skimming... We definitely would skip getting out of the ship for that bad experience.
