For sure. That was one of the worst stream reveals ever. Switching back and forth between dark playfield with no audio to insanely bright colored with massive audio was nightmare inducing.

Hey Gonzo, the R rating means “Restricted” in the United States for movies shown in theaters. Under 17 requires accompanying by patent or guardian. Funny that we use the R-rating slogan outside of movies all the time. I’m here at expo and look forward to playing Alice. I’ll edit my comment and report how it plays. Love your videos!

I agree that Jaws, specifically the Premium, is an “all timer”. 100%. I bought a Prem three months ago and can’t stop playing it. It never gets old for me, at least at the moment. Can’t wait to see was 1.0 looks like. 💪

Alice in Wonderland is a protected IP. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has had its IP expired along time ago, being the original book title by Lewis Carroll written in the 1800s

Gonzo, it's Interesting that you love the John Popadiuk designed TOM, and dislike TZ. Over the last 20 years, I've reduced my collection down to those two machines. I love them both, and they make a good pairing in that they are the polar opposite of each other, in terms of flow and ruleset depth. However, if I had to choose to keep just one, it would be TZ. As for the Alice machine, it looks very pretty and would require a lot less maintenance than my machines, but I'm in the twilight (excuse the pun) of my years and can't justify the expense anymore 😊.

Hi mate, I have tried to like T'Zone but theme wise it's just a bit all over the place for me. . . . a bit scattergun and random I guess. Possibly because it was a TV series with lots of different episodes and therefore lacks a bit of continuity and ruleset to follow.

We need to play it first but I just don’t know how you spend $13k on this. I can think of about 1000 games/combinations of games that will most certainly be way more enjoyable to play and look at than this one. The last 2 Jpop games were Magic Girl and the scam zombie game…I think the art and sculpts and limited run are there to distract from the fact the actual layout and gameplay is blah. It’s kind of rumored that jpop games were kind of not designed by him…at least the good parts. You also think of 1 awesome shootable toy on jpop games - goalie, box, ring master, genie. This game has nothing like that it seems. Upper playfield doesn’t count and just looks like a random nothingburger. There just seems to be such a limited number of shots... Anyway, lot of criticizes on this game and the industry is too competitive and packed with great designers and games to really be all in on Alice.

I love Stern pro TMNT and that playfield doesn't have any toys on it besides one spinning disc. The sculpts on Alice kind of make up for not having a lot of toys.

With the 3rd flipper and diverters turtles has probably triple the shots/shot paths of this game. Its not the lack of toys (although 1 nice shootable toy is kind of jpop signature). I guess this game would appeal to the audience for whom sculpts make up for toys and satisfying shots. But I like to actually play my pinball machines.

Alice is being produced in a different building I think. I guess Lebowski will stop when they start production of Back to The Future.

I'm usually all for sexy, but I thought Alice was a little girl in all the source material, so this seems a bit weird. Maybe I'm wrong.

I have one mission before xmas. Get a pinball machine in our game room. Yeah, crazy my wife really wants this, even though she doesn't really play, we go to arcades on some dates, her request. I don't get it, but I have to buy "one machine" yeah. very personal. The machines I grew up with (('mm 56) can't find or they want wayyyyy too much money on facebook marketplace. Really old machine for $16K CAD (Adam's Family). Great game, but not my all time favourie. I'm fine with say $10 ish K for a new modern machine, but is it the same? If you said, I want to buy one machine, the best machine, again very personal, I get that, what would you buy? ok, 2 questions, first one still stands, what new Stern machine would you buy, it only one?

Artwork looks so cheap considering the price..design is fine and pf is nice but the characters regardless of clothing look very poor, similar to ap valhalla.. so much money put into games, scults and mechs only to cheap out on the artist, a Google image search will come up with some incredible artists renders of Alice infinitely better than whoever drew these.
