I really love this version/expansion of the game. It ironed out all the flaws of the original game such as the prep time, removing the weapons, removing the clairvoyance track, and the weird logic of finding the suspects from a list of suspects which now makes more sense being about finding INNOCENTS from a list of suspects.

Mysterium is my favourite boardgame, and I hate the setup portion it's annoyingly fiddly. I agree, it appears to have removed this issue completely.

Pears Ooo was a good clue for ticket stand to me. The OOO is actually a 1000(...) for how expensive the smudge painting is, and the stamps' edges remind me of the uneven edges on ticket stubs. Could be persuaded to pick the candy stand 2nd, but pears aren't quite "candy" enough for me. But my Dixit track record says that's probably not how anyone else looks at these. :p

This seems like a streamlined version of another game by the same guys, I have it, along with one of the expansions, and it seems like this one fixes my only outstanding issues with the game by providing more guidance for the ghost (we just figured out the rough rules for how to choose people and stuff), tidying the set up, and shortening the game by removing the tool (the other one had a who, where, with what, and it was really tough to go through all three in time). Nice to see that they kept the recognizable artwork. I dug a bit and I'm not actually talking about Mysterium but localized earlier (?) version of it.

Yeah, definitely a shortened and streamlined version of Mysterium. Other games in the same "genre" by the same people are Dixit and Obscurio, both of which I do recommend.

@@Steev42 I actually meant 'Tajemnicze Domostwo', which is a bit of a 0.9 of Mysterium, it's interesting if you compare them, how authors were only feeling for bits and bobs regarding gameplay. I'm pretty sure Obscurio and Dixit are by French authors while this one is by Ukrainians, although I do think it was inspired, I even heard of people using the Dixit and Mysterium/TD dream cards interchangeably between games.
