Milling a partially rotten Sweet Gum log, finding beauty inside.
The Flag Was Still There Amazon link: www.amzn.com/1950794148
This log had been laying on the ground for a long time. I don't make a habit of sawing Sweet Gum because it's a poor quality wood that doesn't dry well. This one had salting on the end grain that caught my eye, so I had to try it.
Sawmill is a Wood Mizer LT15GO, tractor is a Kubota L4701 with a Construction Attachments grapple on the front.
