Fair review, I'm one of the reviewers on their site who rewelded all of the axles before putting it together. They were spot welded at best. It is a great trailer, but sadly only holds about 1/2 face cords of wood at a time. If you stack it neatly you can get about 3/4 cord heaped very high. I say it's too bad because it's rated for 1600lb, but can't fit 1600lb of wood in it! I welded a receiver on the back of it so I can tow my splitter behind it at the same time. Going to add 1ft sides with hinges to be able to get the full cord in. Have to be hinged or you won't be able to reach the bottom over the sides if solid.

hey great info. we mainly use it for cleaning up branches and such. now we have the tractor , in places I can not get the tractor in I use the trailer for 6 foot cut logs . but still is a nice trailer. comes in handy around the property. thanks for tuning in Glenn.

Looks great, One canuck to another, I am in princess every week, never saw one. would have liked a view from off to the back and side so I could see what i looks like. Thanks for your time

hey . they don't have them on the floor. depending on the store.. the Barrie store had them in the back at the time only 3 left you have to ask them at the desk , pay for it then drive around to pick it up..

@@tazzharm I found that out, thanks. I looked it up on their web site, our store in Saskatoon has 5 but not on the floor.

Hi there, Id really appreciate knowing what size tires and wheels you have on there. I got the model but it comes with the 8 tires that are such a weird size at 18x4x10. I can see what you have on are 18x8.5-8 but what wheels are those that fit the bore size of the axel on that trailer specifically? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey. this is the site that I got it from www.princessauto.com/en/1600-lb-heavy-duty-dual-axle-atv-wagon/product/PA0008894719 I did see 2 different types on the internet . saw your version and didn't like the tires then saw this one i'll go and look tomorrow and write down the size.

hey sorry for the delay the tire size is 18x 8.5 x 8 I would send gorilla a request for the proper fitting just incase. maybe princess auto would have replacement wheels.

in your opinion, based on how rugged the frame is... would you think, with a suspension upgrade to a D.O.T. approved tires ...do you think this would work as a truck trailer? for light duty hauling?

hey , probably not but I'm no expert.

Can that Center axle hold a tire in case one blows to even the one side out?

hey , well I'm not sure. I have picked up a nail on one side and tire went flat, didn't notice it till I was unloading it. wasn't loaded to the max at the time but did have bunch of wood in it, maybe half full.... Glenn.

I think I would ruin the steel mesh immediately with firewood. Seems like a nice trailer but I don't think it would last

so far I have filled it up with logs and nock on wood no dents. main purpose of the trailer is for the longer branches to get them to my chipper. have done about three heaping loads with branches hanging out the end with front and rear sections removed....works perfect for that and for long logs , moving skids and such for building projects also helps. Glenn.

The trailer was designed to work, I have had a 10x 4 foots since 1995, for 10 years I hauled a golf cart and quad ( at different times) now hall my side x side and tons of logs. the mesh has yet to complain

One other thing, if you read the small print, the metal is powder coated, mine is not, I abuse the crap out it since 1995, it will outlive you, put it in your will.

Same as other comments.....I toss wood in from the splitter until heaping and flowing over the sides.....mesh couldn't care less. Done 50+ face cords and still looks new.

I've owned mine for two years. The mesh bottom took a little damage from wood so I invested in a neoprene 1/4 floor for the trailer. It is now indestructible. Trailers amazing

За 1 тысячу баксов совсем приличная телега. Поздравляю!

This does look well built and rugged. But would be useless on my property because you cant haul dirt, mulch , yardwaste and shavings. The mesh looks cool but really limits what it can be used for.

I use it mainly for collecting branches and logs. If I down a tree I collect what I can to bring it to my chipping area. I also have deep areas that I can not get my tractor into so having this trailer makes it better for me to carry out short logs to finish cutting them. I did pick up another trailer for dirt and such. thanks for watching Glenn.

Just throw a tarp in it first.

I throw plywood pieces that I cut to fit in the floor and sides if I need to haul dirt, gravel, etc. Works great. Just be careful not to overload it because although it's impossible to overload with wood, dirt, sand, and gravel it's easy to put too much in.
@billypirtle14432 жыл бұрын
I do not like it because it is still using wheel barrel bushings not of going down the hyway two or three miles and axle will not hold up.
