Love seeing these guys play together. There's a false perception that when gorillas beat their chests it's a sign of anger, but usually it isn't. They do it when they're feeling happy and confident, to show off how big and strong they are.

They have feelings and emotions and there moments like anyone else right they make good parents and grandparents and uncles and aunties stay safe and warm out there we laugh and learn and benefit from the gorillas they are very smart and intelligent animals always learning something new each day from them it's good seeing them having fun with their families and troops love you guys thanks stay safe and warm out stay strong as well much love and respect and appreciation job well done you should be amazed and proud way to go !!! Kiyo throwing grass on Shabani is always amusing. Not that often you see AI on the hunt for Shabani. She is usually fairly reserved.

Shabani is very charismatic Most silverbacks(in zoos) don't really get too involved with their group They mate, they break up fights among the group but for the most part they don't really interact much Shabani is all over everyone's business. He plays with his 2 grown up kids and he often messes with his wives so they run after him His brother Haoko is often very mean to the females and to his kids so it stands out that Shabani is the complete opposite

I have asked this many time and never get answered ,, are there any videos of Shabani and Haoko being together as brothers and then being seperated?............and are there any videos of Annie and Kiyomasa being little babies?

I've seen videos of Annie and Kiyo's when they were little. I came across a video with Nene holding Kiyo. Kiyo looked to be about a week old. 😊

@@tammydowell94There were so many videos out there when they were younger and residing in the old enclosure. Kiyo and Annie were so cute, always playing together.🥰 I'm sorry, but I don't know how to send them to you. Hopefully ,someone reads this and can help.

@@tammydowell94 Iboschi was the main videographer that filmed Shabani when the kids were little. Shabani has a Wikipedia page ( Shabani gorilla) there aren't alot of videos of Shabs & Haoko if you google Taronga park zoo in Sydney Australia. My phone won't allow me to do links. I hope you can find something out that will help you.✌️
