The habitat is really quite impressive. They have toys, big balls, lots of things to climb on, ropes, hammocks, and more. He spent a lot of time playing while we were there. He's full of energy!

Gorilla's cannot swim. They are afraid of water.

@@OurSweetTravelsPeople only see whats in front of them and in this case, a tiny part of what is obviously a large enclosure. Very quick to be judgmental without facts.

He's just having fun with his dad! Just because there aren't any other gorillas around in this picture doesn't mean that there aren't others for him to play with! He's happy and acting like a healthy young gorilla!!

We watched this adorable little gorilla for three hours as he tried and tried to get all of the adults in the habitat to play with him. No one would! He also tried to play with the two babies but the mommas wouldn't allow it. They are too young! While I can't know his feelings, everyone around us felt he was having a tantrum. We heard a lot of terrible two comments!

Kayembe wants someone to play with him so badly, the baby girls will be able to keep up with him soon 🦝❣

They don't have much freedom as much as we human do. They might feel bored having to go through the same circle of life, on daily basis, with nothing to do, basically very monotonous. We must be grateful because we live a colourful life.❤

Kayembe is playing with his dad, Mokolo. Not a tantrum at all. Just a 2 1/2 year old boy gorilla.

I hate seeing these magnificent creatures being kept prisoner in a tiny little enclosure for us to laugh and stare at.

So sad to see these beautiful , intelligent gorillias, babies living this way, caged, away from their natural habitat, familys, friends, Nature. Its clear, the baby is like " why" do we have to be in here? Dad is like, " Accept" its all we can do right now. Acceptance, present moment Surrender to grace Its all we have right now.... Someday things will be different. Until then. Send Love.🌈❤️🌟🦍🌻
