Yeah, troops without kids are not that fun to watch 😅. These Gorillas are very beautiful, but feel like there is lack of something. Naughty kid running here and there and messing with everyone. 😊

It's a really lovely family, thank you for the footages about this troop. And thanks for the great gorilla link - as for me, I use two international gorilla studbooks, one is Gorillas Galore and the other one is Gorillas Land. Both are very useful. Where does the new silverback come from? I've just checked the troops in China, it seems to me that the four boys here can either form a bachelor group with Happy and Haidi in Shanghai or join Nekon in Zhenghzou, but the latter solution is very unlikely. Whoever the new silverback will be, still there are many females in Burger's Zoo, what will happen to them? Have you got any information about the females?

Hello, even for Nick, the zookeeper who will accompany the boys to and for some weeks in China, it is still unknown where the new silverback does come from. A loyal gorilla fan thought the silverback may have come from a Zoo in Poland...? As far as I know, all the females remain in Burgers' Zoo. I'll will ask again this week and I'll let you know when I have more information.
