I agree and have made a couple of comments on it. I think he’s scared (my opinion ) ❤ the fact she’s missing has frightened him, I remember when they moved there n he left her to go sleep w shabani! I think his Dad gives him comfort and security. I know he will be leaving soon but I know from both of them he will be an amazing silverback! Just my 2 cents

Beautiful Annie at the top of the Tower tossing her branch at the crowd 🎉🎉🎉🎉 She is something very special ❤❤❤ Mum gorgeous Ai walking on 2 legs a lot here lately with her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What ever time it is for them 😊. 😂😂😂Little Kiyomasa is almost back to himself by not being right next to Shabani all the time. I love Nene. But I think Annie is my favorite to watch. Shes very different. Maybe since she was raised by humans and had to be re-introduced to the group later. I watch other groups and Nene AI and Annie have a very distinctive light hair around their faces. This group is my favorite to watch.

They don't actually need to show us Nene....it would probably be nice if we could see her, but it's not really necessary. The zoo did say that her health and movement had been improving though, so that was good. I don't know about the birthday treats...I haven't been watching this gorilla family for very long, so don't even know when all their birthdays are.

Staying optimistic that zoo are doing their best and keeping Nene seperate for good reason, although another update would be fantastic, they have given birthday treats some years back....was hoping they would mark it a little....maybe more of his favourite food presented like the lovely arrangements Momotaro and family get (although not sure what Shabanis favourite food is come to think about it.....answers please if you know 😅 )

How do they "refuse to acknowledge Nene's existence"? She's off exhibit for healh reasons...that's perfectly normal. Commenters complained when she was still with the troop and now they complain that's she's not on exhibit. Its like the zoo can never be right because people are just looking for something to be outraged about....

Annie and Kiyo's sagittal crests are severely sunken in. That happens because of a poor diet. Annie also has an extremely thin stomach. Its a little better than before but wow, the zoo needs to adress this.

It’s not about the food. I was there in may for about 2 days and the quantity of food was enormous and they even let food out for waste. Annie is skinny, but kiyo must be about his mother condition.

🙄 The very LEAST the zoo could do is POST a few **Photo StiLLs** or Something onLine !! of NENE in order for the Viewers to see with their OWN EYES 👀 that Madam is Indeed ALIVE and WELL. Otherwise, I remain SUSPICIOUS and am Frustrated at the zoo’s LACK of Transparency and their total DISRESPECT of PAYING Customers whose Hearts 💞 are INVESTED in the SHABANI Troop. I for one will NO LONGER watch Videos of this family UNLESS and UNTIL I see some EVIDENCE that Nene is in good HeaLth. In Fact, The ONLY reason why I tuned in to the channel this time is because I BELIEVED I would get an opportunity to see Madam (the title of the Video is a bit DECEPTIVE making it seem as if NENE would perhaps appear in the Video at some point 🤷🏽‍♀️)

I wonder if the fact that this is a zoo in Japan has to do with how and when Nene (in person or in photos) will be shared with the public? Zoos in different countries may follow different protocols that those of us in the USA don’t understand, but to them is standard procedure. It’s frustrating, to be sure, especially when we have no control over it. 🤷‍♀️

Djeeko even got special treats the other day on his birthday. Having such a bad time of it lately, with Nene being sick /hurt or possibly worse ,one would think that this would be a prime time to give Shebani extra love by giving him treats/presents. They get no enrichment compared to other zoos I follow. Some make a point on doing things differently every da*n day.🤨🤎🦍🩶

Couldn't agree more. Zero enrichment while other zoo's have enriched learning, foods, straw and bedding, activities, roaming and play structures, iced fruit, swimming... I could go on and on.
