@@MissaPality oh !! 😮 Ginki used to have it really bad !! At one point vvewers were very concerned . Her stomach was very huge . She wasn't pregnant either . Around the time Kenny was like 1 ,2 ,3 years old . She ate all the time constantly never stopped . I even had to mention Ginki be put on some kind of weight loss regimen . Of course that would have to take some doing . Anyway I really don't know what or if they did anything but Ginki has lost some weight " yesss" . Believe it or not you can find her not eating like she used to . Of course it depends on what video your looking at . Some videos are repetes of that food consumption stages. Ginki is always going to love to eat after all she's a big momma . Big bone I should say 🤣😄😃👍 . I think the zoo officials are keeping updates on her weight . If not they will have a bigger problem to deal with .✨♥️✨

This was very interesting to watch-- family unit on high alert. Everyone immediately took their positions. Momo at the front guarding and assessing. Genki grabbed Kintaro and moved him in and away from the danger. Gentaro guarding the rear and flanks going to dad for direction. It was a ballet! The end was the best with the "problem" addressed, Kintaro under Gentaro's wing and both boys watching and learning from Momo. I think Gentaro's finger in the mouth is his self soothing to stress. I've seen videos of Riki doing the same. Impressive dynamics!!!!!!

I can only assume there is a white hat in the vicinity. This makes me wonder if they can tell when another gorilla is worried and automatically go into 'patrol and protect' mode. Even if they don't see or hear what the issue may be.

We saw that happen once at the St Louis Zoo in the US. We were watching the families that consisted of 1 silverback and several females and Babies/children. All of a sudden there was commotion and the silverback started pacing back and forth in front of the glass and the rest were kind of huddled together. Af first we couldn’t figure out what was happening. Then we saw it! A couple of uniformed policemen had strolled into the area, just talking quietly. But the silverback had reacted to their uniforms. Makes you wonder what was in his memory that stirred him up like that. The men weren’t even paying any attention to the gorillas and were very quiet.

Momotaro does not like men in white safety hats, they where part of the team that brought him to Kyoto zoo and he has never forgotten them. He gets very aggressive and protective of his family if he sees them. 🙋‍♀️🦍🇬🇧

Video is so sad & have never seen momo in such distress & anger like that truly raged ! I imagine he never forgets it & almost on protection that the “white hats” could come take him or family to never return again !
