Hi - Just watched your video. I have the same reason to buy Nomad ; taking notes in the meeting without laptop which is huge barrier with other people. However, I am still not clear how to export my notes to laptop to get them prepared to be sent by email ? Have you shared any video to explain it ? I watched most of your videos, but you are usually showing how tondo the things in Nomad, not outside. Thank you Kit & Ed

This is a great question and I will try to do a walk through soon. It is pretty easy to get the notes off of the device. I know that Supernote is working on a way to share notes directly via email from the device. Right now, you can export them as PDF, image, and other types of files.

You really could do more of this content and I think this will help your channel grow because the learning curve needs someone to help us through it. The PDF ability was keeping me from embracing the SN vs. rM. Now that I have learned how to add my custom PDF’s and editable this is awesome. Hopefully you can connect with Pixel Leaves too.

Fantastic video. I have just gotten back to pen and paper (from being exclusively digital) and sort of am giving myself 2-3 months to see if I stick to it before buying a device. The Nomad looks more and more like the device I need. Still keep going to the ordering page at least 3 times a day but resisting the temptation. Please keep up this collab - it is super useful. Thanks so much! Yeah, I think we've found something really useful here. I think you have to weigh up the things you like about pen and paper, and the things you like about digital, and see if you can achieve more of them with this type of device. Kind thanks for the comment!

Thank you for the kind comment. I agree with Kit that is about determining your digital balance. What do you like and feel the most productive doing on paper. Then look for the device that matches that need.

@@KitBetts-Masters From all that I am seeing, the suepernote seems to be the most apt thus far! My handwriting is not all that great so conversion to text might not work for me very well. Do you know if they have their own ML model or do a continuous improvement on the model? Also, would you know if they are also going to release a native mac app? Thank you again

Great video, guys. I'm loving the Supernote. I have both the 5 and Nomad and developing my workflow using both and it's coming along nicely. Agree that they are amazing for note taking in meetings, just like a traditional notebook. Easily adaptable to every day life.

Hey, since you have both, what do you think A6 or A5 ? I want it for note taking during conferences and workshops, making to do lists and planning stuff. Also I want to make use of the Google calendar integration. I'd love to know what you recommend.

hey @@carnellac7439 thanks for asking. Both would work really well. The 6 is like a moleskine to me. Good size, easy to use and light to carry. The 5 does allow more space to write and tbh, I would default to the 5 for work. The 6 would be more my private journalling etc, though I have the set up to sync so all notes will be available on both. If you had to choose ONE for work related tasks, I'd go the 5.

Regarding the calendar function of the SuperNote, creating notes linked to days is a great feature that I use all the time at work. You can see a list of the notes you created on a given day very quickly. I would like to see a more automatic syncing of the calendar to the Google calendar (which is my all purpose calendar of choice). The current sync feature is fine as long as you remember to hit the sync button, after which the sync is a bit slow but workable. Also, I would like to see a direct note to email as pdf function, rather than first having to send the note to the export folder. I think Ratta is working on that. Finally, all of these companies should be seeking to use AI to automatically link notes behind the scenes to be able to access them in any number of ways, whether by date, contact, subject, etc. Great show, by the way.

One Question, everytime I see a printed document it seems to be in a very small font. Since I am already wearing reading glasses, I'd love to know whether you can change the font to make for better reading.

If it is a PDF, you can use the "trim" function to eliminate the margins and make it bigger. You can also zoom.

I'm not sure to be honest. My hunch is probably not easily, but it probably could be done if you new your way around the back end of android. I'd suggest making a query to Ratta about it, they'll probably be busy because they're selling really well at the minute, but they will get back to you!
