I was high when I listened to this version about 2 years ago… I’ve been developing most badass game ever since then. CHUUUNKY ass violence, super dynamic combat, everything is a weapon, your character is a freak, every battle is a complete dogfight; when you whittle all the enemies away and you’re still outnumbered you’ll always come back to relying on your fists (something you’ll be delightfully unsurprised by at that point). And the best part is it contrasts it’s badass gameplay with some damn good horror and all around cosmic dread. No more details about the game (sorry), but you’ll see it in about 4 years. It’s been pretty fun making it. No budget, I’ve been doing it on my free time and I’m legit just learning as I go (with the help of an extremely talented tutor I.E. my animator friend who knows a lot about unreal lol). Not tryna break a rib sucking my own dick, but I feel like this is how good games are made. Left completely up to me and my imagination. It’s absolutely massive (6 year total development time is our estimate rn… maybe longer) which would’ve discouraged the hell out of me in the beginning, but it’s too late to turn back and I think it helps with how I’m going about realizing the boundless canvas I’m painting into a fully fleshed out world that leaves an impression on other indie devs who are intimidated by game development. I feel like wanting to push a game out just so you have a game under your belt severely limits indie devs who feel like they want a fully realized game but don’t have the skill or money or time. No detail left unpolished to perfection in every aspect has been the golden rule since we started. We’re not counting down the days until any deadline, 6 years might turn to 8, 8 years might turn to 10, it’s only finished when we’re happy. Anyways… I’m thinking about using this version of Dare for the trailer (I like contrasting multiple themes if you couldn’t tell😂)

I talked to my friend about teaching me how to use Unreal Engine, Blender, and some other programs. For about a month he really was just helping me learn those programs, then one day we were hanging out and I told him about the idea and he wanted in.👍
