I remember watching all the original percussion videos years ago and having to learn by ear. Nice to see these percussive videos again.

That’s crazy I just watched your original from 7 years ago and I see this. Right on and I’m glad you’re still keeping up with videos

musical genius! i love youuuuuu!! i remember watching your videos yearssss ago, the stolen dance cover had me in awe as i was first learning uke many years ago for a short while before moving on to guitar, now im at a point where im picking these beats up 30 minutes, when before they seemed literally impossible! thank you, so glad to have remembered your channel!

Thank you for posting! You inspired me to play ukelele many years ago, and I would zoom in real close and play your videos at a fraction of the speed, feeling all sorts of accomplished when I finally learned your style. I would keep checking in to see if you posted anything new, and it's so good to see you're back!

in case it helps anyone I just noticed that in the final playthrough (from 5:39) the chord changes for chords 2, 3 & 4 come in *just before* the beat on the last up-stroke before the 1, hope this helps!

Hello I enjoy your percussive style of play. I been having my ukulele since february. Just this cute little instrument can do so much than just strumming. I am wondering what kinda of program are you using on your sceen. Huge fan of your way of playing. Thanks for sharing your percussive tutorial aswell. I want to implement percussive style of playing aswell. You have any tips like is it just like try to explore and freestyle. See what you can come up with?

Many thanks! The program up on the screen is FL Studio. I'm only using the free version though. As far as tips on how to get started, I usually try to imitate beats I hear with the uke and see what I can come up with. Learning how to play some of the beats then develops techniques that I can later use in other beats. I'll probably come out with a video on tips soon
