Indeed. I always wondered why bands try to make their covers a 1 to 1 copy of the original song. Like why would you do that? If I wanted to hear Feel good Inc in the style of Gorillaz I would just do that. I love Violet's style and her take on the song. Some of my favorite covers are exactly those that take a song and transform it in the style of the covering artist, like Violet's rock cover of Summertime Sadness. I love Lana del Rey, but I prefer rock and metal over pop, so the cover is amazing for me.

That's why I love "like a version." It's done by an Australian radio channel, but they invite musical artists to perform a cover of whatever song they want, and most of the time they make it in their own style

One of the things I like most about this, is how it starts out like a 70s psychedelic rock song, but then goes into a sort of…. Early-to-mid 2000s punk rock sort of thing, then back to psychedelia for a couple seconds and back again.

I’ve been listening to this song for a few hours now to really get an opinion on it. I really liked a slower and moody version of Feel Good Inc. It really enlightens the meaning of the song. The only thing I missed were the catchy bass-line, I think a slowed down version of it would have been really cool in the beginning. Overall an excellent cover and maybe my favorite from you Violet, great job all of you involved 👏

I love the feeling of how you did this. it doesnt feel like oppression or an over the top party. it feels more like a few friends sitting down, getting high, and just talking into nowhere. It's so relaxed even in the more intense bits and just hits the right spots for me! this has probably replaced the original for me. now all we need is a mashup of this and Frog Leap's version
