I've hardly listened to D-Sides all the way through, being a long time fan. I've flicked through songs now and again to remind myself what it's like. I view this video as almost like a farewell to Gorillaz at the peak of their popularity. Starting with Plastic Beach, they started to become more and more niche overtime, a sentiment I think still reigns true today, even though they are by no means obscure. This video was uploaded during the latter half of Phase 2, so this video is almost like a time capsule of when the band was at their most beloved.

Russel is alive. He is home in the US. Noodle is gone/ dead. 2D is trapped on Plastic Beach by Muds. Murdoc is in the island's lighthouse recording studio doing a radio station. Also the Noodle you see in the Plastic Beach album is a Android. Hope that clears up some questions.

@MisterBankz You're right, it would be hard to find someone who hated Gorillaz COMPLETELY. They have a lot of songs, and a wide range of styles, so there really is something for everyone. I guess what I should have said is that there are a lot of people who are not "fans." By that, I mean they don't follow Gorillaz, and they only like one or two songs. You wouldn't call me a Nirvana fan if I liked Smells Like Teen Spirit, and hated all their other songs, would you? That's what I'm trying to say.
