I have to say, the main difference between the two bands shows is there’s chaotic energy with Gorillaz and fruity energy with Blur. Went to the show in Detroit. This man looked directly the fuck at me, full eye to eye contact, while singing the first part of Tranz. I'm trans. Granted me and my buddy were the only ones dressed up that night and I was in a full Murdoc look; and obviously there's no way of him to know I'm trans 😭 but damn man, the pure chaos that radiates from those eyes was terrifying lmfaoooo. Shit was so funny because we were joking about him doing that the entire time we were planning on going and the fact he actually did it that night was just *chef's kiss* cherry on the cake.

@@ritagarcia9696 I was in the front row, with nothing but the barrier ahead of me and had been standing right in front of where the stairs to stage right were (my left), the one' he'd come down from time to time to get close to the crowd. He always comes down during Tranz so I was expecting him to get close but I didn't expect to be at near dick level when he'd jumped on the barrier literally RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME (a little off to my left, but still in front of me), to mess with the crowd I'd say like two or three rows back. It's unreal when people start swarming you to try to get close to Damon lol, my friend just sort of ducked down because she'd been to so many gigs that it's routine to her xD. I'm going on a tangent though- when Damon came down the first time, he came down to the beat of the beginning of Tranz. It helped that me and my bestie were the only people in full cosplay (I was Murdoc and they were 2D so like- I was literally painted green with a red contact, kinda hard to miss me 💀), so it was definitely more of like- the fact it was easy to pick the green one out of the crowd PLUS being right in his line of sight lmfao. But I know for a fact he'd stared me down because he'd even pointed at me as well. It was funny because me and my friend were joking for months before the concert that it was gonna happen so we shat ourselves laughing when it DID happen lol. It was my first time in front row and my second Gorillaz concert so I was fucking pogged, I also got heart hands from Seye (the live bassist) because I have a teensy crush on him and my friend was joking about it and they'd decided to give him my attention, so when Seye looked at them, my friend pointed at me, motioned with heart hands, and then pointed at him lol. He's a good sport and played along with it xD. It was definitely a super fun concert, one of the funnest I've been to. Edit: soz for going off on a novel of a reply akdkfk but it was just so fun and I get excited telling it bc it's just a happy memory for me and it makes me happy. It was just goofy all around so we had a good laugh and aaa
