Crazy to see how popular Gorillaz has gotten. I was a fan back in the 2001 and was 11 at the time. I had the first Gorillaz album. I used to get bullied like crazy for being a fan when I was a kid and there were not many kids that I knew at my school that liked Gorillaz. Since then I got to hug Damon Albarn outside of a concert in Chicago when they were touring for Plastic Beach. He signed my Gorillaz poster. Gorillaz will always hold a spot in my heart.

I'm the same age and been here from the beginning. I had Murdoc from the Rock The House video on my English book and carved "Murdoc is sexy" into my ruler, which inevitably got stolen by bullies and I was terrified they'd discover I was a Gorillaz fan. Who was sexually attracted to cartoon characters at that. Nightmare.

Very brave of you to try posting this again. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's able to remain up this time and your channel doesn't recieve any more strikes. Because your channel is literally one of my all-time favourite channels on all of KZbin and I'd be devastated if the worst were to happen to it. I'm not being hyperbolic either. Gorillaz is my #1 all-time favorite band (indeed my #1 all-time favourite source of music period) and I really enjoy watching their concerts and hearing the live versions of their music because it's often so different to the album versions. But unlike many bands & artists, Gorillaz really don't make any professional-grade recordings (both visually and audially) of their concerts available to their fans; making it so that fans who aren't able to personally attend their concerts have no alternative way to experience them, and fans who DO attend their concerts aren't able to revisit the experience after the fact. But then, like a beacon of light in the darkness, we have THIS channel ensuring that basically every single Gorillaz concert that has ever been professionally filmed/recorded is uploaded to KZbin, so that all Gorillaz fans are able to experience & re-experience Gorillaz concerts from ALL throughout the band's 20+ year existence. Be it the Phase 1 concerts that were performed behind a giant screen, the Phase 2 concerts that were performed entirely in silhouette, the Escape to Plastic Beach concerts of Phase 3 that finally brought the human band out of the shadows, the Phase 4 & Phase 5 concerts in which Gorillaz finally perfected their concert performances, the Phase 6 concerts performed entirely in COVID-19 quarantine, or the modern-day Phase 7 concerts they've played all over the world all throughout 2022. I think bands themselves should learn towards does who put on the effort and film the entire concert for those who couldn't come. The experience is surely different than being part of the crowd but its the closest we can get here from home. Fans are filming them to remember these moments, and some film them so others can enjoy. I think bands should respect that as well because their fans truly do love them for their music.
