My dad has cancer and has not had any proper sleep or food for the past 6 months because of the pain he feels. Everyday I try to be unbothered by it. I have to be, in order to properly function at work and in the household. But sometimes, I intentionally play this song to cry when I'm alone. We all need a bit of a breakdown in order to reset our mental state. To anyone reading this, we all have our problems, some worse than others. We can make it through, a day at a time.

*Just placing this here.* This reminds me of when my family went into suffering, we had no choice but to give up everything and move into an very old rundown house, the windows had cracks in them, the walls were all beaten up, water never stopped leaking from the taps in the bathroom and the house had mold. It was also close to Christmas so it was always cold that the stove always had to be on and keep the house warm, the rooms inside the house were all empty except for the sleeping bags that laid depressingly on the floor..This stressed my parents who already struggled with 5 kids that drugs became one their habits, now the drugs had particles that stuck to the walls of the house so it quickly sickened my brother who only turned 1 at the time, he was so miserable and ill that he was always bedwittren..We feared he would die because he refused any treatment..My guilty parents began abandoning their duties and responsibilities with us children to party for days and left me to parent them. I remember always crying myself to sleep because I was so stressed and lost, I eventually became getting addicted to alchohol, I was only 15.. Now alcohol destroyed every bit of my innocence, it always introduced me to gang violence..Which resulted into me getting raped and putting trauma on my siblings who were bear maced at one of my parties I threw.. After that horrible experience I never wanted to have anything to do with alcohol, neither with any living being except for my new boyfriend who incredibly helped me since I became incredibly suicidal..One night while I was talking with my boyfriend, my ill 1 year old baby brother unexpectedly came into my room with tearful eyes, his frail cold body jumped into my arms and he wailed loudly, I knew he had enough..I held him tightly and I cried myself..My boyfriend played this song while he held me with my brother and I never felt and heard something so beautiful, from that day it felt like something snapped in a good way inside of me, I confronted my dad who wasn't deep on the drugs the next week and he remarkably changed his ways back into the father I once knew..but my mother was long gone and she took my sister who was close to my age with her. *But now I'm ready for graduation, my siblings are all healthy and grown, my dad has a new spouse who helped him maintain his alcohol addiction. We live in the country side now, wealthier than we never expected.* *I praise my boyfriend and this song for shining some kind of hope on me that one night, my family generation would've been dead by now.*

When i hear this song i remember someone that i have to let go, even though we felt the sparks for each other. There is this heavy sad but safe feeling, like i’ve done the right thing.
