I've always come back to this song over the years, this vid too. It reminds me so much of rolling around the neighborhood with music in our ears and of reading all the comments over time. Makes me wish I'd posted something years ago so maybe I'd still have my own mark reaching into today for someone to see and know maybe that it was real. Oh, well, now I am a lonely man.

Gorillaz routine.......a song about lonliness,saddness,and moving out.....while the video has no meaning to it but has a good sensation of monkeys having horrible fates in this bike safety movie,which has a great twist with the only child riding into the tunnel at the end,yeah,that makes sense,i might be young,and Gorillaz are the only best band ever,but this video made me feel really high,but good song and video though

My complaint wasn't necessarily with the latter point, but more the assumption and cheapening of a work by attributing it as a product of drugs, as opposed to an artist's creativity. Certain artists take loads of offense from comments like that (such as Tim and Eric's work). Drugs aren't necessarily like opinions. Don't cheapen opinions by saying that please. It can be your opinion that you like drugs or they change things for you, but that's not the same thing.

So? Kinda agree with CreeperPatrol. Apparently now, anything that's at all strange in the media, even the slightest bit "op, that was drugs." or "song's made better on drugs." I'd rather have my mental faculties to catch the nuances in the song thank you very much, so if anything, drugs just dull you to the experience.

I believe this is a canceled Dan the Automator song featuring Damon albarn, remixed by Kid Khoala (I'm pretty sure all that was added was the mixing sounds and the sampling you hear). This song is not a Gorillaz song.
