A actually like how this resembles 2D trying to be himself in plastic beach and tries to bond with Murdoc.. but never works and always would end up with a back eye or more bruises on his. The only time when they murdoc was interested in what 2D was in is how the blue-haired marshmallow makes the music for the fall. Murdoc would even help doing the vocals!.... man what a bond.. but I think that was the only time they bonded like that tho..

I like to think that 2D really wants to have a good friendship. With murdoc but murdoc is just the type of person that constantly has a negative mindset and it makes it harder and harder for 2D to keep a good relationship with him. Although nowadays he seems to be getting a lot nicer towards 2D but still I feel like he still has a long way to go.

The worst part is when he just pushes aside Cyborg Noodle, who is threatening him with a gun mind you, just to hide from Murdoc. He's more afraid of being beaten by Murdoc than being shot and possibly killed by Noodle. Also, Cyborg Noodle is such a b*tch here! I always imagined her as being nicer to 2-D but still loyal to Murdoc, kinda like a mom in an abusive relationship.

@@WaferTots Yeah, i just like to imagine that Murdoc would have programmed her with some of Noodle traits/memories so she could recognize him and 2-D, and some of those memories would influence her behavior around them. Your work is amazing by the way, I really enjoyed seeing this. Most people who like Gorillaz just want to see 2-D with Noodle, but i'm glad some people are actually invested in showing the story of Plastic Beach in their own way.
