Ricky Ceppi Honorary Gorilllaz. I love that these two played with these guys. B.A.D. was Gorillaz before Gorillaz. They were one of the first rock/hip hop groups. Funny thing is I didn’t care much for them at the time. I was always a Joe Strummer guy. But i ended up liking them after a while.

Honestly Gorillaz live is not my favorite most of the time, they always seem out of tune or something but this is a really nice rendition and I love how casual and cute everyone is on stage, they always look like they're having fun!

For some reason, I like this version more than the original. Maybe just the added vibe of live strings and vocals, including some of the leads which I found not just spot-on but really amazing in their dynamic and expression, but also the fact that some funky guitar work is more front-and-center, with that great treble-funky tone coming from that Fender Jag, with equal parts Nile Rodgers and a bit of grit from the Meters, and all that just makes it--well--more funky.
