Coming back to this video and hearing Russell’s backstory once more, I finally realized something, maybe a little fan theory for him or something like that. So in Russell’s introduction it was mentioned that his friends were killed in a gang bang drive by. Russell mentioned that the people who killed his friends were in red hoods, that got me thinking about the new albums they made with cracker island and skinny ape (forgot the name) In cracker island murdoc arrived in the hospital wearing a red hood and robe, most likely from a cult. Now back to what got me thinking. What if murdoc secretly had something to do with it? Or what if he only found out about the cult/group after or before the drive by happened? We’ll probably never know but tel me in replies what you think about this theory! Even add some theories yourself if you want and I’ll read them too :D

Damon is (also) known for being a druggy and both albums "gorillaz" And "demon dayz" Were recorded when both Damon and Jamie were high as they suffered addiction.
