The other ones actually showed you how the tapes were passed around, or how other saw them, ala the police officers from the first entries. Its kind of a cop out for us to piece how these got back when the other vhs entries explained it so well.

The Farrington House is actually a real, 140 year old historical house in Brant County, Ontario. It also does have some spooky urban legends attached to it. Unfortunately it's not the house depicted in the film. It looks like a big yellow rectangle.

V/H/S Beyond is definitely my favorite of the franchise so far. All of them have been strong except for V/H/S Viral but even that had 2 pretty good segments. Idk where the series is going next but I’m 100% watching every year.

Hey man, I really hope you feel better. Man I highly suggest some comedy stuff regardless of if you're in the mood for it or not can really change things up over time. Some of my go to's that are just plain fun and don't have large negative moments that make my anxiety spike again: stripes, major payne, the blues brothers, Detroit rock city, dazed & confused, the stoned age, both Eddie murphy stand ups Delirious and Raw (drunk dad and the kid stories gets me every time). Aside from the stand up routines, these movies have some really great character moments that are pretty real, like John candy introducing himself as ox in stripes in the barracks. There is alot of heart.

In the last segment, my take on it is that the woman’s daughter actually died rather than her just abandoning her. I just think it makes more sense as to why she is out in the desert in the first place ( maybe by looking for aliens she could find some way of reaching her daughter in some way) and why she keeps her daughter’s toy with her. Just a thought.

The dog one is clearly messed up, but mostly because it feels like Becky got away with her actions. I don’t care much for those extremist animal rights groups but still, that felts undeserved. Maybe if we saw Becky and her brother laying clearly mauled (implying their creations turned on them) that would have made for an arguably better ending to the segment. I don’t know I feel like I’m missing the point.

I love FoundFlix and have been watching him for years, but something that has always kinda bugged me is he never *really* actually explains what’s going on. He just kinda gives us an overview of the plot and then gives his guess and goes “idk tho who knows”

This didn't have my favorite tales out of all of the anthologies so far, but it was def my favorite collection as a whole... they went way out with the effects, and I never got bored or wound up with a short I'd want to FF upon repeated viewings... this one may be my favorite anthology (in its entirety) so far.

Yep I agree , for a found footage horror anthology film series with a whopping SEVEN ENTRIES!! The v/ h/ s series is consistently very good for the most part with 4 very good entries (2,94,99, and now beyond!) 2 good ones ( 1 and 85) with only one poor entry ( VIRAL obviously although there are 2 good segments but the others are okay to bad) for a horror movie series with a consistently good quality. Quite the feat!! I'm a big fan of the series, bravo to the guys and gals behind this series. You can tell they have the passion and imagination for this can't wait for the 8th entry.

Stowaway with Allanah was def my favorite but my of all the questions ive ever had from a vhs story, this eats at me the most: Who brought the camera back? Was it the alien? The first segment an the skydiving one were both gold, top tier, Both are probably in the top 3 segments in the whole series- next to the one in the last film or the one before where the camrea dudes go to hades, that one was amazing an those directors went on to make a really cool found footage evil dead mash up called deadstream* it was so good. But yeah I almost wish the first segment & the skydiving one could be made into feature length movie's.
