Problem is it would have to be an extended race to 3 or more, given how well most players play.. just saying 1 game decides when they all can runout at will doesn't do too much. At least with a shootout it makes the player have to play the fastest they can to win.

These pros destroy template racks. 10ball with a template Shane knocks in several balls everytime. Making the pockets tighter wasn’t enough 30 years ago they were playing on 5” pockets now the run packs with 4” pockets. Making the break unpredictable is the only way to make it interesting.

If fedor could do what svb could do but better, tel him to get at least 5 US Opens lol. Only 2 people on eart hhave ever accomplished this, SVB and Earl Strickland who are both the GOATS of pool.
